Transparent LED display keeps Emma Plus ahead of trend

Today's shoppers – whether they're fashionistas or not – all expect a state-of-the-art shopping experience.

With digital signage credited for improving brand awareness by 48%, it's easy to see how the fast-growing technology can boost revenues and give businesses the edge over its competitors.

One such business is Brighton, UK-based fashion store, Emma Plus. The shop, which sells plus-size designer womenswear and accessories, recently teamed up with digital signage experts SIS Digital to install a state-of-the-art transparent LED window display to capture the attention of passing shoppers.

The transparent display is the first of its kind and was supplied and installed by SIS Digital. It offers an incredibly bright screen, at 6000 Cdm – despite being almost completely transparent. This transparency offers the benefits of both keeping window-shoppers happy as they can still see the merchandise inside the store, while allowing 80% of the natural daylight in (nearly all of which would be obscured by a traditional sign).

The exciting new sign operates using a simple plug-and-play system, and enables content to be updated (for example, promotions to be featured/removed) at the touch of a button. So even the most technophobic business owner has nothing to fear.
